Prof. Dot is an ophthalmologist at the French military hospital, a professor of Ophthalmology at the French Military Health Service Academy of Val de Grâce, Paris since 2010, Head of the Ophthalmology Department since January 2012 at Desgenettes Military Hospital, Lyon, and Head of the Head and Neck Department since 2015. She has a degree in aviation and aerospace medicine, and a PhD in choroidal neovascularization induced by laser photocoagulation in mice and is a Member of the Collège des Ophtalmologistes Universitaires Français (COUF), the SFO, ARVO, AAO, EVER and Euretina, and has received a Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite et de la Légion d’Honneur. Prof Dot is involved in clinical research in retinal diseases and participates in expert advisory board meetings for pharmaceutical laboratories.
