Following the last two articles (published by Points de Vue in November and December 2020), we now continue our overview and discussion of our new vectorial-based cylinder-determination method. In this third and final article, we compare the techniques used in “traditional” and “digital” refraction to find cylinder values and look at how each one is charted in the dioptric space. We then discuss the advantages and outlook offered by the new “Digital Infinite Refraction™” method.
