Melanie joined Essilor in 2008 after a 4 years in automative lighting. She holds a physics/optics engineering degree from Institut d’Optique Graduate School ParisTech and a Master’s degree in Optics from the University of Arizona (US).
She first joined Essilor’s Optics Department working on new products’ designs and has been part of the Physics-Chemistry
Department. Since 2012, she has been working on radiometry and optical simulation. Her research focuses on the interaction between light, opthalmic lenses and the eye.
