PhD in Health and Wellbeing Technologies, Msc in Biomedical Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering. Mr Laparra’s master's thesis, which studied the use of physiological signals to assess preferences, received the R&D Award from the Caser Foundation ; and his doctoral thesis focused on eye tracking and physiological response for HMI assessment.
Mr Laparra has been a researcher at the IBV since 2007 and has been leading R&D for Human Factors since 2015. He has participated in 33 research projects in public calls and 45 projects with companies. He has published three articles in impactful scientific journals and made 32 contributions to conferences and technical journals. He has also written four book chapters and filed two patents.
