Romain Chaumillon is a postdoctoral researcher at University of Montreal, School of Optometry, Psychophysics and Visual Perception laboratory. He earned a M.Sc. degree in Kinesiology in 2011 and a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience in 2015. The primary focus of his research was the fundamental processes underlying visuo-motor transformations and how this can be applied to Neuro-ophtalmological clinical practice and elite sport. Since 2016, in the context of the NSERC-Essilor Chair on visual function of Montreal University, he focused his activities on the interactions between these visuo-motor processes and perceptual-cognitive abilities during ecological tasks such as car driving
